IN THE MOMENT

To be in the moment here and now is unimaginable and unattainable for many.

With a full busy daily schedule, meeting socially set goals and running away from yourself, it is really a challenge just to slow down.

It's actually really easy to get into the moment here and now. You just have to allow yourself to step on the soil of our mother earth. We connect with her already by stepping into her embrace and allowing ourselves to be surrounded by her serenity. This happens even more authentically and spontaneously if we experience the contact barefoot.

“We direct all our senses into a single moment and feed ourselves with everything it offers us. Then we just be and this magical state leads us into our depth. Where we meet ourselves, where we can observe and feel what this moment creates in us, what awakens, what informs, what releases.”

And we are already connected to her there and we are already filled with the unconditional generosity of her greatness.

Let's deepen the moment by watching our feet sink into the forest soil, perhaps into the clay that protects the bed of the forest stream.

We watch the running water caress our skin and feel its touch. We watch how easily it finds its way over obstacles or around them, listen to the story it whispers, feel what it brings us and what it takes away. We accept the sun's rays that seep through the mighty treetops and indulge in the pampering it offers us. We listen to the intertwining of the songs of the forest birds and the accompaniment of the stream mixed with the sound of the wind.

Perhaps we see a playful ladybug, with her tiny legs deftly and proudly carrying her red dress decorated with black dots, is set by the sun and carelessly walking wherever spontaneity leads her.

We can gaze into the forest floor. Brown and at first glance quite passive and barren. The moment we direct it in that direction reveals to us how alive, active and colorful they really are.

All this can be "being in the moment". It is so simple, so accessible and so very possible. We direct all our senses into a single moment and feed ourselves with everything it offers us.

Then we just be and this magical state leads us into our depth. Where we meet ourselves, where we can observe and feel what this moment creates in us, what awakens, what informs, what releases.

And in the embrace of the spontaneity and intimacy of the moment, we can easily express our emotions, be they positive or negative. We easily let go of everything that no longer serves us, or express it in a way that may be easier than words.

And when expressing what we feel cannot be done with words or tears, we can express our joy or inner struggles through creation - through art. You can right there, in the middle of the green serenity, in the embrace of the forest melody. We look around and create from the natural material that catches our attention. Spontaneous, without expectations, without frameworks and without instructions.

Being in the moment is not science fiction. Allowing yourself to be in the moment is above all a challenge that each of us may or may not allow ourselves.
